Design Mobiles
Some of the mobiles shown on this page were designed back in 1956. They were shown for the first time at an exhibition at "Den Permanente" in Copenhagen. For many years, these great models have been stored away in a basement in Kolding. Livingly has decided to give the mobiles new life, and we relaunch a selection of the best.
Experimenting with folding and cutting paper and other material, we enjoy to create new designs – we believe that the great tradition of Anni & Bent Knudsen deserves to be carried on, and we keep coming up with new ideas.

The Density Mobile is inspired by Op-Art from the 1960s – experimenting with optical illusions. The elements of the mobile are playing with perspective around one axis, densifying in the centre and fading horizontally in the thin points – creating a well balanced yet livingly expression. |
